When a resident wearing the provided wristband approaches or attempts to pass through the monitored doorway, the TL-4005HOME Single Door Monitor alarm system activates both audible and visual alerts at the door and on the caregiver’s pager. The alarm can be silenced by the caregiver using the included reset button, conveniently located near the doorway.
The TL-4005HOME system includes an AC adapter, magnetic contact switch, resident wristband, and reset button. The magnetic contact switch is designed to trigger the alarm when the monitored resident is within range of the door monitor and the door is opened, thereby breaking the magnetic contact and notifying the caregiver of the resident’s movement.
