Getting started or staying motivated
Research shows sustained physical activity in older age is associated with improved overall health. In this particular study, of 3454 men and women aged 63 and older, significant health benefits were even seen among participants who became physically active relatively late in life.
As the study shows, it’s never too late to get started. Whether you’ve exercise consistently over the years or just starting to exercise for the first time, the below routines are ideal for seniors. At 20 minutes or less, these routines are easy to fit into your day.
